Valentine's Day Partyyyy

Valentine's Day Party Recap

This past Friday I hosted a little Valentine's Day celebration at my off-campus college house. I set up a photo shoot area and spent the whole day running errands and decorating in preparation for the night. I am a big fan of grocery shopping and finding fun decor so this was super fun for me. It was a bit stressful though I was on a time crunch and I wanted it to be perfect!! It all worked out and the night was filled with lots of laughter, festive drinks, delicious and adorable snacks, and many many photos!

Here are some of my top picks of the night:

I made a delicious cocktail made with Strawberry Liqueur, Deep Eddies Vodka, and pink lemonade and topped it off with a sugar rim and fresh strawberries. I simply put all the ingredients in our cocktail shaker and poured them into the plastic glasses from Party City. They were so tasty and were an absolute hit with all of my guests. Each guest was asked to bring a dessert or drink and they all turned out super festive and made the night even more special. I also stocked up on candies, cookies, and other treats to make sure there was enough to go around. One of my favorite foods that made an appearance was my friend Melanie brought heart-shaped cheese! Although I am lactose intolerant I still loved the addition and it looked so cute on the table!

Spending quality time with people who prioritize you and love you can be so rewarding! It was so nice getting to see my friends, some of that I have known since elementary school, and I love that we continue to have a strong relationship with them so many years later. I am so appreciative of these people in my life and am so happy I was able to create a fun environment to enjoy this weekend. Having a support system is very important in managing mental health and maintaining positive energy within your life. Your friends should push you to be better and make you want to keep improving yourself. This group of people truly inspires me every day to live life to the fullest and breathe. They are all so different in their own ways and each time I see them I learn something new. This weekend was such a blessing and reminded me that I have the most amazing friends who love and care about me so much. Hopefully, we can all get together again very soon!

Make sure to remind your friends you love them this week 💗
